A day at TopGolf Watford - safety first and a great day

Me and my dad went to Top Golf one day. We were going to do the range which is when you just hit some balls and practise your shots. We were lining up with a group of people waiting in front of us. They were arguing with the lady who had let us in. She had to make us safe as we are in the coronavirus pandemic . The lady was telling the men that they can only be from one house together to play in a section together but they were from two houses so it didn't work. We then went in after doing the safety check on the app to see if we didn't have coronavirus or linked to someone or somewhere known to have the virus. We didn't so we went in.

We were then told to go to lane four. We went there and we checked in. We had to wait as they were disinfecting our section. So as we waited we had to follow the one way system then we sat at a table. We waited until we got a text on our phone and finally got it. We went to our section when we were told to give our cards to the assistant to get the balls for us. We were not allowed to touch anything until we started our game.

I had the first shot. I swung back and hit the ball and it went really far, it went into one of the big holes. Then my dad had his turn. You would have thought he would put it far seeming that he scored 115 last time but it shot high in the sky and landed on the ground, it didn't even pass the first hole. I was laughing. We finished the game and we checked our scores and I came 13th out of everyone that day and also beat my dad. We then started the second game when I improved my last score from 36 to 45 which means that I came 7th place that day. My dad didn't do well this time as he got 21 and was rubbish, at least he did better than his first game of 15. I beat him twice, came 7th for that day and also got a high score for me.

I enjoyed the day at Top Golf Watford, it was great to get out the house during the covid -19 pandemic. I felt incredibly safe with all the checks and cleaning the staff were carrying out. I had one of the best times over the last few months and will certainly go back next week and beat my dad again.
